Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America
The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. In addition to supporting research, the organization does many helpful things for the UC patient community. These include hosting forums and online support groups on its website as well as sponsoring in-person support groups throughout the country. CCFA's website also contains a lot of valuable information about UC.
National Digestive Diseases Information Clearinghouse
The National Digestive Diseases Information Clearinghouse (NDDIC) provides a helpful overview of UC. The NDDIC is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
